Hey Pups, tonight I saw a thread in Pup 101 asking the question about what was the most rewarding part of being a human pup. For me my life has been absolutely enriched by exploring my pup self with the gift of a family, the skills of interaction and a whole new world to explore my kink self.
When I was first collared with Sirius Pup it was just Sir and I. I was thrilled with my new training and it was not soon after that my good friend Pup Trooper Bravo asked me about a pup t-shirt I was wearing.
This opened up a conversation and it was not long after that Trooper was collared, my first brother, my first pup family.
Since that time I have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people. I now have a close knit family in Australia. I also have an extended family across the world I am so happy to have made.
As I write this I am in the United lounge ready to head to the UK after an amazing time in the USA.
I’ve been fortunate to meet some of my pup heros, my pup crushes and even attended my very first mosh. Huge hugs go out to Mistress Lilliane Hunt, Tyke, Brue, Wesley, Daddy Doug, Pup Gadget, Baus and the amazing crew at SEA-PAH. Massive nuzzles to Pup Scooter for his hosting in Canada and introducing me to some of the great pups and handlers in Calgary.
Through the whole trip I have been amazed at how friendly and open our community has been.
As part of my training I have learned so many amazing skills. I know that people think pup play is about making funny noises and eating out of a bowl however these is so much more to this lifestyle.
I’ve learned discipline, I’ve learned transaction, I’ve learned patience. All of these skills have spilled across into my life as I learn to look at other social interactions through the lens of a trained pup. These skills have changed my life helping me be more confident, stronger and knowing when to push, when to stand my ground and when it’s best to retreat.
I’m sure you can imagine that these skills are certainly helpful in life both as a pup and in my human form.
Finally my life as a human pup has allowed me to explore my kink… I’ve learned skills of bondage, skills of domination and submission, I’m developing early skills of a master as well as a leader.
Human pup play has allowed me to rediscover my passion for rubber, for leather and for a variety of kinks. It’s been a wonderful learning passion and one for which I am grateful to have been allowed to explore.
For me human pup play has been a gift that has allowed me to grow and expand not only as a pup but a person. I can’t recommend exploring your canine aspects enough.
