Just this week I woke to an urgent message from my pup brother Trooper Bravo, concerned about me. It appears that my FaceBook account had been removed and when I logged in I had been hit by the “tell us your real name” penalty.
Thankfully I have been keeping aware of the whole situation. I was excited to read the following in post at ITWire:
Facebook’s Chief Product Officer Chris Cox used a blog post overnight to apologise to “the affected community of drag queens, drag kings, transgender, and extensive community of our friends, neighbors, and members of the LGBT community for the hardship that we’ve put you through in dealing with your Facebook accounts over the past few weeks.”
“We owe you a better service and a better experience using Facebook, and we’re going to fix the way this policy gets handled so everyone affected here can go back to using Facebook as you were,”
But Has Chris Cox Changed His Mind Again?
What interests me most is that my account was closed down after this announcement, and it seems like I’m not the only one. Many pups are reporting their accounts have been blocked in the past few days.
Want another interesting mystery? While looking for the posts I had made on my wall about the FaceBook issue, all, yes I mean ALL!!! the posts I had shared about FaceBook’s reversal of the name policy had been removed from my feed.
While I’m grateful to have my account back, I have to say I am more than a little concerned that my own wall had been censored with the removal of two significant posts…
Now this is a pup who is very serious about his marking!!! I can’t help but wonder if he’s taken the Sirius Pup human pup play marking training a little overboard 🙂

Today I was contemplating an event that happened for me recently.
I was taking part in a scene with my Master and a friend. As part of the scene Sir instructed my friend on how to flog with me being the “floggee”.
While only being brief I enjoyed the chance to be flogged, to submit and allow my body to be used as a teaching tool. I enjoyed the sensations and the nice dull thud with an occasional sting.
Afterwards I smiled as I enjoyed that nice toasty glow that tingles your skin after a good solid whack.
Seeing my pleasure Sir asked me to thank my friend for the flogging, It was at this point that I felt the real struggle.
As I got down on my knee to offer my thanks I suddenly felt weird, almost embarrassed but also resistant. I couldn’t look my friend in the eye as I tried my hardest to offer a sincere thankyou. I was feeling resistance but unsure why.
The issue wasn’t pushed but it did leave me feeling unsure as to why I felt such a feeling.
Part of me was saying “I don’t want to submit to another Master”, and another was not wanting to feel “sub” to a person I consider a friend.
Unsure I did my best to release the thought and talked with Sir about it that evening.
It wasn’t till the next day that it hit me. I wasn’t struggling in to show my appreciation of the flogging, I enjoyed it, it was awesome. My struggle was actually my own. An image of what I had in my head of a “sub”, an image I did not want to share with a friend… You see in my head my belief was that to say thank you as a sub I needed to be cowering, to be weak and I don’t believe that of myself.
I was fighting the image, not the desire.
The truth was that I did enjoy the flogging and the most sincere way to have shown my gratitude would have been with a big old shit eating grin that screamed “Thank you! I fucking enjoyed that!”
Once that simple fact hit me I was amazed, I wonder how often I have not done something for fear of a false image in my mind, for fear of what another person would think of me.
So today I have made an oath to myself, why fight the desire… Fight the image that is stopping me from moving towards what I love.
It is with eternal gratitude I want to say thank you to Sir and my friend. Thank you for allowing me to learn.
I don’t know about you, but for me, my tail is very fucking important.
It’s one of my core ways of expressing myself, it’s my connection to my pup self… It’s part of me. It’s important.
I’m not sure if you saw my Facebook status the other week but needless to say it certainly got a reaction from my fellow pups.
So here’s the story. A good mate of mine wrote to me very upset, he was in pain, and worse he felt humiliated.
The night before my friend had decided to head out to his local leather bar in his pup gear. He was really proud, he looks great and he wanted to give his new tail (one of the new colored SquarePeg tails) a spin.
Overall the night was going well but there was this one drunk idiot… Sadly this guy was being a fucking dickhead. Pulling on his hood, grabbing his collar, you know the normal stuff that people who have no idea how to handle pups think is “funny”.
Up to that point my mate was brushing it off and just gently moving away but sadly this dickhead wanted to keep on at it.
Thinking it was funny he grabbed my mates tail and yanked it out of his ass, and we are not talking about the gentle way we remove a friends tail, this guy was brutal. My mate was mortified, embarrassed and most of all in massive fucking pain.
Can you imagine it? I don’t know what would be worse, the embarrassment of having your tail removed, or the pain of it it being pulled out so unexpectedly.
Thankfully the bouncer was not far away that that dick head was quickly ejected from the pub. Sadly my friend was left feeling a combination of pain, embarrassment and red hot anger…
Fuck, if I was there I would punched him so fucking hard…
This nasty episode kind of had me thinking. What is the best way to express your pup self and not leave yourself open to this sort of stupid behaviour.
One thing I am grateful for is that Sir, my trainer Pup Boss, has always told us to never go out as pups without him. Now I can understand why!
Beyond tail pulling idiots, not going out in pup mode has also helped reduce the chance of bad interactions that can leave a pup feeling confused or bad. I’m glad that Sir has been with me as he’s always had a answer for some of the more bizarre questions people seem to have about human pup play.
Fuck, some days I just want to scream, go read the fucking Sirius Pup website, lol.
Of course I know I am in a very fucking lucky situation. Not all pups have a master who can watch over you so today I wanted to offer some suggestions that might help avoid dramas when out and about.
Probably the first thing I would say is always prowl in a pack. A lone pup is going to be a target for all sorts of dickhead actions. If you are with other pups the chance of anything getting out of hand is much much lower. Failing that at least hang with people who are your friends who you know you can depend.
As for wearing a tail in public I am not a huge fan.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love my tail but I also have an ass that starts to get twitchy after a tail has been in for about an hour. More often than not that tail starts to work it’s way out no matter what I do. For this reason I will only wear my tail for extended periods if I have the safety of a harness to catch my tail should it develop a mind of it’s own (and trust me it does!).
The other advantage of a harness is that it’s protection from any yanking, both accidental and less accidental. You see it has a ring that holds the butt section of the tail in place. Hmmm, probably easier if I show you a video 🙂
I made that video a few weeks ago and I hope it explains how the the holder work… The key point is that ring that the tail pokes through holds it safe in place so it will not be going anywhere fast.
Overall I am glad that my friend is ok but his confidence was really knocked after that episode. Thankfully his ass is ok and I ended out giving him my harness. Poor bugger I am glad that he has it, not that he will be wearing a tail out for a while.
I know that this was not the normal light posts I sometimes do but I thought it was a pretty important one. No pup deserves to be humiliated. I hope that perhaps this may help prevent any other pup having to go through a similar situation.
I suppose the key points are to make sure you are with good friends, probably best to leave the tail out but if you are keen to express your pup self via a tail, make sure you have a harness to help keep it in place. I love my harness and it’s great to know I won’t be shooting my tail across the room when I’m getting deep into pup space at a mosh…
