Hey there Pups. Today I wanted to share a few videos on the different style lubes that are available for pup tails.

As you know I love all my SquarePeg pup tails and I want them to last long so your choice of lubes can make a big difference.

With medical grade silicon it’s advised to use either water or oil based lubes. These will not react with the silicone in any way.

One of the water based lubes I recommend is J Lube and J Jelly. Below is a video that explains the difference between the two.

J Lube and J Jelly

J lube comes in a powder form. Just need to add powder and water into a bottle and you can shake up the lube of your dreams.

J Lube doesn’t have any preservatives so if you suffer with allergies this may be a great choice for you.

J Jelly is exactly the same as J Lube just that it’s premixed and has a preservative to prevent spoiling.

If you are wanting to wear your tail for an extended period use of a water based lube can help the tail stay in. With longer wear the water in the lube is absorbed by the lining of the ass which tends to “lock in” the tail helping it stay in.

Remember when removing your tail it’s safer to push rather than pull. Bear down like you are taking a shit and the tail will gently come out.

Oil Based Lubes

Oil based lubes such as elbow grease and  Swiss Navy Grease are a great choice for extended anal play.

Unlike the water based lubes these stay slippery for a long time. This is one of the reasons oil based is often the lube for fisting.

When used with SquarePeg tails the oil lubes are perfectly safe and will not damage the silicone. It’s important to be aware that oil based lubes will destroy latex so don’t use this lube if you are using condoms or on your rubber clothing.

Silicone Lubes

Silicone lubes such as Gun Oil Lube can be great as a little goes a very long way and it’s compatible with most toys. There has been many people reporting that you can’t use silicone with silicone toys as it dissolves the toy. With low great silicone toys or lubes there is that risk.

SquarePeg use high quality silicone so the risk is lower. Steve from SquarePeg reports:

I also say it’s ok to use silicone lube with my toys with some clarification as to why since a few other manufacturers of silicone toys have not recommended the use of silicone lubes. I have not had any short-term adverse effects on my own testing of toys, nor have I yet to receive negative feedback from fellow players who only use silicone lube. It does raise the question however of what the effects might be over the long haul. I personally don’t prefer silicone lubes simply because I cannot ever get it all off once play is over, and anything that can remove silicone could have the potential to damage the toy itself. It also facilitates the adhesion of bacteria and odours as detergent can’t break through.

Given this advice I might be best to use silicone lubes sparingly.

Hey Pups! Not sure if you have seen it but the Holy Trainer Cock Cage has has a revamp!

Two cool new features is that they have eliminated the need for a separate lock that sits on top of the cage. Instead they have replaced this with a magnetic internal locking system. This means that there is a big increase in comfort and the risk of catching skin in the lock is pretty much eliminated.

Hey pups! Just preparing for Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and organising my costume for the march. Just wanted to share a bit of praise for the Oxballs Tailbone Show Tail.

For my costume I have been looking for a tail that does not need to be inserted into the ass. Let’s face it I am going to be walking for 5km and I really don’t want the tail popping out in the middle of streets lined with screaming guys and galls cheering on our float.

The solution I’ve found to be excellent is the Oxballs tail combined with a neoprene harness to attach it to my body. The harness feels great, combined with the cock ring I am a very happy puppy indeed!

Because the tail bone tail has a nice big base it sits firm against my body and enables me to get a decent wag going. The tail is actually longer than it looks in pictures so it will certainly be visible when marching.

Now because Mardi Gras parade is public, with only the tail and harness I am basically naked. I’ve added my leather apron for a slightly more “nasty” look as well as it allowing me to show off my ink 🙂

Other than that it’s on with my pup hood and it’s going to be an awesome Mardi Gras!

Hey there Pups, today I just wanted to answer a question that was asked in Puppy 101 about sexuality and human pup play.

For my I am very much a sexual being and my human dog side is going to be no different.

Human pup play has allowed me to reach and connect with my animalistic side, growling, nuzzling, being connected to the moment and enjoying and relishing that moment in time.

For me pup play has really allowed me to be able to express and enjoy my sexuality in ways I didn’t have access to in the past. So to answer the question, yes, human pup play is sexual for me.

That said it doesn’t mean that this is the same for everyone. We are all free to express pup play as we wish. For some it might be the joy of a new puppy hood or getting into rubber gear. For others it’s about the feeling of family or brotherhood with your own pup family. Pup play is what you make of it.

On a slightly separate note, pup play has been a wonderful structure for me to be able to explore other aspects of sexuality. For me I have been able to learn and explore bondage and sadomasochism. This is not for everyone however I want to highlight that this is a wonderful opportunity to be able to test the waters and try new kinks.

Again this is just my opinion… Pup play is what ever you decide to make of it.

Today I had the great pleasure of giving my brother Primus his first leather pup hood.

It was a magical feeling that I had forgotten, just how special it is to slip into your first dog mask. Those first steps towards the acceptance and understanding of your life as a human pup.

I’m sure you can see in the picture above his huge smile. It’s an emotion that is hard to hide. Even though we can only see his eyes, we know that he is grinning ear to ear under those wonderful layers of leather.

From the outside it’s a physical form of an inner pup self.

From the inside it is so much more.

I love the feel of the leather against my face. As I tighten the lace at the back my whole head is firmly embraced by the leather.

The physical sensation is firm, vision is restricted due to the snout, hearing is muffled. All these help concentrate more canine senses. The smell of the leather is very sweet for my nose as is the same when I wear my rubberdawg hood.

As people can’t see my facial expressions my canine body postures become vital for communication.

All of these simple changes help me to focus on my canine self.

For the outside observer it’s simply a dog hood.

From the inside it’s a tool. An embodiment of my pup self that helps me zone into a more canine being.

As I lay beside Primus gently stroking his new leather mask I felt excitement of revisiting my own pup starts as well as the pleasure of the start of his.

Go forward sweet pup knowing that this hood is the start of a wonderful journey.
