The Happy Pup

Hey pups! Just preparing for Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and organising my costume for the march. Just wanted to share a bit of praise for the Oxballs Tailbone Show Tail.

For my costume I have been looking for a tail that does not need to be inserted into the ass. Let’s face it I am going to be walking for 5km and I really don’t want the tail popping out in the middle of streets lined with screaming guys and galls cheering on our float.

The solution I’ve found to be excellent is the Oxballs tail combined with a neoprene harness to attach it to my body. The harness feels great, combined with the cock ring I am a very happy puppy indeed!

Because the tail bone tail has a nice big base it sits firm against my body and enables me to get a decent wag going. The tail is actually longer than it looks in pictures so it will certainly be visible when marching.

Now because Mardi Gras parade is public, with only the tail and harness I am basically naked. I’ve added my leather apron for a slightly more “nasty” look as well as it allowing me to show off my ink 🙂

Other than that it’s on with my pup hood and it’s going to be an awesome Mardi Gras!

Hey there Pups, today I just wanted to answer a question that was asked in Puppy 101 about sexuality and human pup play.

For my I am very much a sexual being and my human dog side is going to be no different.

Human pup play has allowed me to reach and connect with my animalistic side, growling, nuzzling, being connected to the moment and enjoying and relishing that moment in time.

For me pup play has really allowed me to be able to express and enjoy my sexuality in ways I didn’t have access to in the past. So to answer the question, yes, human pup play is sexual for me.

That said it doesn’t mean that this is the same for everyone. We are all free to express pup play as we wish. For some it might be the joy of a new puppy hood or getting into rubber gear. For others it’s about the feeling of family or brotherhood with your own pup family. Pup play is what you make of it.

On a slightly separate note, pup play has been a wonderful structure for me to be able to explore other aspects of sexuality. For me I have been able to learn and explore bondage and sadomasochism. This is not for everyone however I want to highlight that this is a wonderful opportunity to be able to test the waters and try new kinks.

Again this is just my opinion… Pup play is what ever you decide to make of it.

Today I had the great pleasure of giving my brother Primus his first leather pup hood.

It was a magical feeling that I had forgotten, just how special it is to slip into your first dog mask. Those first steps towards the acceptance and understanding of your life as a human pup.

I’m sure you can see in the picture above his huge smile. It’s an emotion that is hard to hide. Even though we can only see his eyes, we know that he is grinning ear to ear under those wonderful layers of leather.

From the outside it’s a physical form of an inner pup self.

From the inside it is so much more.

I love the feel of the leather against my face. As I tighten the lace at the back my whole head is firmly embraced by the leather.

The physical sensation is firm, vision is restricted due to the snout, hearing is muffled. All these help concentrate more canine senses. The smell of the leather is very sweet for my nose as is the same when I wear my rubberdawg hood.

As people can’t see my facial expressions my canine body postures become vital for communication.

All of these simple changes help me to focus on my canine self.

For the outside observer it’s simply a dog hood.

From the inside it’s a tool. An embodiment of my pup self that helps me zone into a more canine being.

As I lay beside Primus gently stroking his new leather mask I felt excitement of revisiting my own pup starts as well as the pleasure of the start of his.

Go forward sweet pup knowing that this hood is the start of a wonderful journey.

For many pup space can be the mirage of the pup experience Pup space can be elusive, difficult to define and many pups I have talked with are unsure of the what to expect.

It’s almost like looking for water in the desert. You reach the top of the hill and there is a glimmer of paradise but as you approach it disappears…

To be honest my discovery was rather hit and miss but what I can tell you is that pup space is real, and it can be amazing…

When I first met my master I was shy and very unsure. I had no idea about what to do. Should I bark? Should I play with a toy? All I knew was that I wanted to connect with a more animalistic part of my pleasure.

In my first meeting with Sir I was invited to submit. Not just submission to Sir but also to my desires. At first I was embarrassed. I felt “silly” acting out what I thought pups would do. I pawed at his legs, I sniffed his butt and pits. I was “acting” like a dog.

Most of all though, I was scared. I was afraid of throwing myself in whole hog. I had fears I would be laughed at, fears “i wouldn’t get it right”. I now know those thoughts are just irrational. Hey this was the first time I had done this, there was no way I would know what to do, let alone “get it right”.

As I started to feel safe, feeling connected with Sir, I had a sense of letting go. I felt free, I was able to throw myself in entirely. I was focused, I was loving every moment, and on looking back, I think I was in my first experience of pup space.

For me pup space is not really “magical” or “transformational”. For me experiencing that pup zone was about feeling 100% focus while at the same time not giving a fuck about “human” norms.

I am able to connect to that primal self and just “be”. Whether that be playing on the floor, reexamining what could be lost under that couch or laying back enjoying a warm belly rub, it’s a chance for me to let go of my human shackles and just enjoy that feeling of discovery much like a pup would.

Whether that be 100% focused on that game catch or finding a scent.

For me the key to this pup mind space is not quite as mysterious and magical as I had first thought.

For me the key is to first “let go”. Don’t worry about looking silly. Hell you could be wearing a hood with a rubber tail up your ass, it doesn’t get more silly than that!

The second key is to get 100% engrossed in what I’m doing… I imagine what I bio pup would do then I go forth and create a human form of that activity… Sure I can’t lick my nuts but I hey wouldn’t it be amazing if I could!

So pups, “pup space” or “pup zone” they really aren’t the mirage you may have first thought. The trick is to find a place with or without people where you can “let go” knowing that you are free to enjoy with no judgement.

Secondly as part of letting go, throw yourself right in, have a great time, act out your human pup fantasies. When you feel that flow, that feeling of 100% concentration? You may well be in the pup zone…
